Welcome to Guitar

We are so excited to have you join the LCMA guitar class this school year!  Whether you are a beginning or have been playing for a while this is going to be a wonderful musical experience!  Please note, that to be successful you will need to have all of your supplies by the end of the first week. Information handed out at orientation is posted below.

Guitar Class Requirements

Welcome to guitar class!  Here are the essential items needed for this class.   Please make sure you have all supplies purchased and in class purchases by August 15, 2019.
You will need:
Guitar- you can rent one through school (forms for rental are on the website lcmamusic.com
ID Tag on Case for Instrument that Includes Name and Number on Case
Notebook either 1 inch 3 ring binder any color
Page Protectors- several (20)
Dividers-2
Pencil
 
Guitar Rental information
You can rent one through the music department for $26.75 per year.  Or you may provide your own acoustic 6 string guitar.  No electric guitars allowed.  If you bring your own instrument it must have a new set of strings and be in good working condition.
In Class Guitar Purchases

• Purchase through the LCMA music department.  The book costs $18.00.
• Guitar T- Shirt shirts cost $11.00 and can be purchased thru the music department. Orders due by August 22, 2019.
• If you want to rent an instrument and buy a book through the LCMA department you need to write 2 separate checks made out to LCMA Music.    Checks should be in a sealed envelope with your name and class period on it.
