After School Orchestra Rehearsals Jan & Feb 2018
As we prepare for our Music Performance Assessment, it is required for students to attend these rehearsals to successfully prepare for our competition.  Failure to attend these rehearsals means that your child may not compete at MPA and will not be able to attend spring field trips. These rehearsals are required for 3rd  & 8th period students
Monday, January 8, 2018              Rehearsal from 2:55-3:55p.m.     Ride Must be here by 4:00p.m.
Tuesday, January 16, 2018           Rehearsal from 2:55-3:55P.M.     Ride Must be here by 4:00p.m.
Monday, January 22, 2018          Rehearsal from 2:55-3:55P.M.     Ride Must be here by 4:00p.m.

Monday, February 5, 2018           Dress Rehearsal 2:55-4:15P.M.   Ride Must be here by 4:20p.m.  Students Must be changed and ready for rehearsal by 2:55p.m. in their concert attire
Monday, February 12, 2018         Rehearsal from 2:55-3:55P.M.     Ride Must be here by 4:00p.m.
Music Performance Assessment is February 16&17 at Tenoroc High School. 
The date and time will be announced at the end of January.

Complete semester; worksheet on dynamics; practice sheets are due on 1-4-18; test on Ironclad measures 1-30 Wednesday; music prep for MPA work on:  King's Court, Ironclad and Black Diamond; sight reading as well.
Wednesday- Quiz on Ironclad 1-30 ( 3rd & 8th period); Duet performance on Can Can 2nd period

Concert Week is here!  Mark times and dates for the week, so you aren't late!
​12/11  Final Prep day for concert- introductions and music need to be ready
​12/12  Winter Concert is today! Leave cases, phones, jackets, food in the car.  Report to Branscomb auditorium in concert attire with instrument and music.  Call time is 5:45p.m. for tuning.  Concert begins at 6:30p.m.
12/13  Written Concert Reflection done during class
​12/14 Continue picking out solo and ensemble music and begin MPA music
12/15 PTSA Choice Dress Day

​12/7  Feeder School Concert Day- those attending wear jeans, black orchestra shirt tucked in with belt, and report to Mrs. Baker's room after 1st period.  We will be gone 2nd- 5th period and we will be eating during 8th grade  lunch
​12/8 Concert Reflection written completed; EEI recording due by Friday for 2nd period pg. 25.
