Weekly Reminders:
Solo and Ensemble is on Saturday, April 13th! After school practice with accompanists will be on April 3 starting at 2:50-3:35p.m. Those playing a solo are REQUIRED to attend this run-thru for the event. Ensembles are welcome to also come and rehearse.
  • Practice Sheets are due on Monday, April 1st!
  • Quiz on on Cello Squadron measures 1-30 ( Wed-Fri depending on FSA testing schedule)
  • Quiz on measures 29-37 Eclipsys for 2nd Period
FSA writing testing is Tuesday-Friday this week. Check with your Language Arts teacher for your testing date and time.  Good Luck!

Electrify Your Strings is Monday! Students participating may wear their music shirt and jeans to school on Monday.

 Participating Students
Students are preparing for their upcoming workshop (5:00-6:30p.m.) with Mark Wood and their collaborative concert at 7:00p.m. on March 11, 2019. For LCMA orchestra students, the ticket price includes their workshop experience as well as performing and watching the performance.
 Please print your ticket and have it with you when you arrive for the workshop.
Dress code for concert is choice dress day attire or jeans and your music shirt whatever makes you feel like a Rockstar. ( no wigs or costumes please).
Workshop:         5:00p.m.-6:30p.m.           Meet Backstage in the music room behind the stage. To access them walk past the auditorium entrance and there are glass doors that will be open, and you will see us.
Concert:               7:00p.m.-8:00p.m.     Florida Southern College Branscomb Aud

  • Solo & Ensemble After School Practices are on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2:45-3:30p.m.  on March 5 & 6th.  Solo and Ensemble is on April 13th at Davenport SOTA and the schedule will be released soon.
  • Electrify Your Strings is Monday, March 11, 2019. Workshop begins at 5:00p.m.- 6:30p.m. and the concert is at 7:00p.m. Make sure you've returned your EYS forms and gotten tickets by Wednesday, March 6, 2019. For the event you will need: Viva La Vida, Pentatonic Scales and those participating may wear jeans and their music shirt on Monday, March 11 to school and to the concert on March 11, 2019.
