Practice sheets will be due for December when you return in January- Plan ahead and make sure you complete the first grade of the 3rd nine weeks.
MPA music is being passed out and we will have weekly playing summative the first one is on Thursday, January 10th and will be done individually on Knights Quest measures 1-30 ( 3rd & 8th Period Students). After School rehearsal schedule for January and February will be posted over winter break.

Weekly Reminders:

12/21 End of Semester and 2nd 9 weeks is Friday, December 21st.
12/20 All assignments MUST be completed and returned. Instrument Cleaning day as well as small ensemble performances
12/19-21 3rd period caroling to various classrooms ( assigned locations)
12/18 Feeder School Concert for 3rd & 8th period students attending field trip to Lincoln and Winston You will need: folding stand, music, instrument & wear long blue jeans and either the blue orchestra t-shirt or last year's black orchestra t-shirt.

Weekly Reminders:

Tuesday is Concert Day! Students may wear their music shirt and jeans to school on 12/11. At the concert make sure you are wearing your required concert attire.

Concert Black for Intermediate and Advanced Orchestra Students, Black pants with your orchestra shirt for beginning orchestra. Call time is 5:45p.m. for student tuning and the concert begins at 6:30p.m.

Thursday is Concert Reflection day. This is also a summative assignment.
Friday begin working on our caroling music for classroom carols next week.

Weekly Reminders:

12/3 After School Rehearsal until 3:45p.m. and you will need a ride by 4pm
12/4 Concert Folder Check- make sure all music is in order and ready for concert
All new field trip forms for new date of feeder school concert are due
12/5 Concert Introductions assigned and perfected for concert
12/11 WINTER CONCERT Call time is 5:45p.m. at Florida Southern College and is REQUIRED! Bring instrument, music and leave your case in the car. Concert begins at 6:30p.m.
