Welcome to Orchestra! We are working on a way to communicate with students and parents, but for now email and phone are the best way to communicate.

Beginning Orchestra Concert Attire
Orchestra Spirit T-Shirt (Information is coming soon.)
These shirts can be worn on spirit day and are required. Parents may purchase a shirt.
Students will also need to get a pair of black dress pants (no leggings, jeans or tears and they must be long pants.)
Please do not worry if you are a first-time strings player. We will go through all the instruments the first week of school and then you will know what instrument you are playing and to rent.

Instrument Rental
There is an option for everyone for instrument access. Please see below for what to do for getting your instrument.
Instrument Rental Options are as follows:
Shar Music- they are open Monday-Friday 9am-6p.m. and will ship it to you.

Carlton’s Music they are open Monday-Friday 9am-6pm and you can fill out the order online and pick it up in the store or arrange to have it delivered to your car. They also have a starter pack that includes other supplies, but you must call as they don’t have it linked to their website.

School Rental (you are still required to supply all accessories for the instrument)
The rental form must be filled out and turned in electronically and payment will be turned into the teacher. It is important to know that you will still need to get the accessories for your instrument- Book, Rosin, Cleaning Cloth and Shoulder Rest or Rock Stop. Please refer to the supply list at the top if you have a question.

- Rosin
- Soft Cloth
- Violins/Violas Shoulder Rest for your instrument

- Plastic page protectors(25), 3 ring 1-inch binder, pencil kept in folder
- Beginning Orchestra Essential Elements Book 1
- Intermediate Orchestra Essential Elements Book 2
- Advanced Orchestra- Sound Innovations- book details to follow
- Each Supply their own tuner (phone tuners not allowed)
